Adam Isaac on The Voice (BBC1) this Saturday
Exeter-based singer-songwriter Adam Isaac will be on our screens once again this Saturday on BBC 1 at 6.10pm as his fate is being decided on The Voice UK.
He first appeared on the show during the blind auditions at the end of March singing ‘Maybe Tomorrow’ by Stereophonics and started a name-dropping duel between Sir Tom Jones and Will.i.am who both wanted Adam on their team. You can watch Adam’s audition here.
After choosing Tom Jones as his mentor, Adam went on to win his battle round singing ‘Use Somebody’ by Kings of Leon.

This victory allowed him to go through to the Live show two weeks ago when he performed a rock song (‘All My Life’ by the Foo Fighters), a rare occurrence on prime-time national television. Two days before the live show he fell off the stage and chipped his elbow, but that didn’t get in the way for him as he got saved by the first public vote of the show.
Adam now finds himself in the final four of Sir Tom Jones’s Team along with Ruth Brown, Leanne Mitchell and duo Matt & Sueleen. Out of these acts, only one of them will be going through to the next stage by public vote. From the three remaining, the legendary coach will only be able to save one. The two winners of this round will be going on an arena tour in September with the six artists left from the other teams led by coaches Jessie J, Will.i.am and Danny O’Donoghue.
On Saturday’s show, as Team Tom and Team Will compete, Adam will be singing ‘High and Dry’ by Radiohead, one of his favourite bands: ‘I’m feeling more comfortable with the song choice this time. I hope to show more of my real sound.’ He will also perform a group song with his team, including the legend himself, Sir Tom Jones. ‘This week has been more light-hearted and Sir Tom has been good fun. The rest of the team are a pleasure to be around.’

After playing hundreds of gigs over the last 10 years in various venues around the Westcountry and working as a resident musician at music venue Mama Stone’s in Exeter, Adam has been building up a very loyal fan base. ‘The support has been incredible, I hope I can do everyone proud’.
To watch Adam’s live performance on The Voice UK this Saturday, tune in to BBC1 at 6.10pm. You can vote on your mobile phones or landline for a limited period of time only following the show.
